When calling into your toll free number, callers will hear a main greeting which you record to have them select an extension. Once they select an extension, they are taken through a call flow that has been designated for that specific mailbox.
For example, they dial 1 for sales. They are then placed on-hold with music, while the toll free system calls your cell phone via follow-me-live to transfer the caller to you. If you do not answer your cell phone or choose not to answer the call, the caller is sent into the Sales Mailbox. When a message has been left, the Sales Mailbox can notify you of the message instantly by calling you, sending email, and/or page you. Each mailbox can be designated for a different "department" or employee, and you can have an unlimited number of mailboxes on each toll free number, each with its own unique call flow, voicemail, and notification options.
No busy signals
Your toll free system will be able to handle an unlimited number of calls, so callers never hear a busy signal. If they dial an extension and you are busy or choose not to accept the call, they are simply placed into voicemail.
