What the Heck is an Auto-Attendant?
The term auto-attendant is another one of those fancy telecommunication buzzwords that really just means a main menu greeting.
For instance, when you call a toll free number and are greeted with something like "Thank you for calling Acme Corp. For sales press 1. For billing press 2." what you are hearing is the auto-attendant.
